Brief Profile

The Bachelor of Science Education Study Program is one of FMIPA UNNES’ study programs that educates future scientific educators for primary education. The purpose of this study program is to prepare graduates to work as prospective educators, research assistants, and resource managers in the field of Science Education, as well as to pursue Masters and Doctoral degrees in Science Education and potentially become lecturers in the Science Education and Primary School Teacher Education Study Program. The Bachelor of Science Education Study Program was established on April 6, 2009, based on a decree issued by Dikti Number 498/D/T/2009.

Graduate Profile

  1. Science Educators: Graduates of the Bachelor of Science Education Study Program are qualified to be educators and learning facilitators who have a strong conceptual and procedural understanding of science material, as well as the ability to use information technology to keep up with advances in science and learning.
  2. Science Education Research Assistant: Graduates of the Bachelor of Science Education Study Program might work as research assistants in the field of science education, publishing their research findings in scientific forums and magazines.
  3. Educational Resource Manager: Graduates of the Bachelor of Science Education Study Program may manage classroom, laboratory, school, and educational institution resources.
