UNNES Executive board are the people who are elected and trusted by all students, academic activists, and UNNES employees. Surely in carrying out UNNES task the executive board get heavy loads but with the Vision of the Mission and the assistance of the campus, then being a world-class campus is most likely to be realized.

Rector & Vice Rector of UNNES

Prof. Dr. S Martono, M.Si.

Rector of Universitas Negeri Semarang

Prof Dr S Martono MSi is a professor in the field of management who has achieved many great successes throughout his career. He was born in Rembang on March 8, 1966. Prof Martono earned his undergraduate degree in business education with a focus on office administration from IKIP Semarang. He then earned his master’s degree in management from Airlangga University, and in 2012 he earned his doctoral degree in economics from Diponegoro University.

As a professor in the Faculty of Economics at UNNES, Prof Martono has held various positions of responsibility throughout his career. He started as an assistant in the Student Association of Economics at the beginning of his career and now serves as Vice Rector for General and Financial Affairs at UNNES since 2015.

Not only has Prof Martono shone on campus, he has also been appointed to several prestigious positions outside of UNNES. He served as Chairman of the Alumni Association and Practitioners of Office Administration in Central Java from 2011 to 2020, Chairman of the Association of Economics Education in Higher Education throughout Indonesia from 2011 to 2015, and Chairman of the Forum of Vice Rectors for General Affairs of Public Service Universities from 2017 to 2020.

Prof Martono’s contributions have not gone unnoticed. He has received numerous awards for his work, including the Satya Lencana Karya Satya award in 2003, the Adhi Makayasa award in 2012, and the Satyalancana Pembangunan award in 2015.

Prof. Dr. Zaenuri, M.Si., Akt.

Vice Rector I for Academic & Student Affairs

Prof Dr Zaenuri MSi Akt is a professor in the field of Mathematical Economics who is experienced and highly respected among academics. He earned his doctoral degree in 2011, which further strengthens his expertise and reputation in the field. Prior to serving as Vice Rector for Academic & Student Affairs, he also served as Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences.

As Vice Rector for Academic & Student Affairs, Prof Dr Zaenuri MSi Akt has a great responsibility in developing academics and research on his campus. He oversees many academic projects, including research and development in various faculties, educational programs, and other activities. In this position, he strives to strengthen the academic quality of the campus and ensure the quality of competent and professional graduates.

As a professor in the field of Mathematical Economics, Prof Dr Zaenuri MSi Akt has conducted many innovative and useful research and works for the development of science. His sharp thinking and careful analysis have helped to develop new theories that are useful in understanding the relationship between mathematics and economics. His works are internationally recognized and have brought Indonesia’s reputation in the international arena.

Furthermore, Prof Dr Zaenuri MSi Akt often gives public lectures and serves as a supervisor for S2 and S3 students in the field of Mathematical Economics. He is very concerned with the academic development of his students, and tries to help them develop their potential as best as possible.

Prof. Heri Yanto, M.B.A., Ph.D.

Vice Rector II for Planning, General Affairs, Human Resources & Finance

Prof Heri Yanto MBA PhD is a highly respected professor in the field of cost accounting. Prior to his current position as Vice Rector for Planning, General Affairs, Human Resources & Finance, Prof Heri Yanto served as Dean of the Faculty of Economics at UNNES. In 2012, he earned his doctoral degree, and has since become a prominent figure in the academic community.

Throughout his career, Prof Heri Yanto has published an impressive 61 research articles in Scopus and SINTA, reflecting his commitment to advancing the field of cost accounting. His research has been widely recognized and cited by scholars in Indonesia and beyond.

As a professor and academic leader, Prof Heri Yanto is highly regarded for his expertise and dedication. He is committed to sharing his knowledge and experience with students and colleagues alike, and has been instrumental in shaping the academic programs at UNNES. His contributions have been invaluable in ensuring that the university maintains its high standards of excellence and continues to make significant contributions to the field of accounting and beyond.

Prof. Dr. Ngabiyanto, M.Si.

Vice Rector III for Research, Innovation & Information Systems

Dr Ngabiyanto MSi is a distinguished academician who currently holds the position of Vice Rector III for Research, Innovation & Information Systems. In this role, he is responsible for spearheading research, innovation, and information system initiatives at his university. Dr Ngabiyanto brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge, having previously served as the head of the Institute of Educational and Professional Development.

During his tenure at the Institute of Educational and Professional Development, Dr Ngabiyanto was instrumental in implementing certification programs that helped aspiring teachers become professionals. His contributions in this regard have greatly benefited the education sector in Indonesia.

With his impressive track record and expertise, Dr Ngabiyanto is well-suited to his current role, where he continues to drive innovation and research initiatives that aim to benefit both the academic community and society at large.

Prof. Dr. Nur Qudus, M.T., IPM.

Vice Rector IV for Cooperation, Business & International Relationship

Prof. Dr. Nur Qudus, MT, IPM is an academic with extensive experience in the fields of civil and environmental engineering. Currently, he serves as the Vice Rector for Cooperation, Business & International Relationship at Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), a state university located in Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia.

As Vice Rector for Cooperation, Business & International Relationship, Prof. Dr. Nur Qudus, MT, IPM is responsible for establishing good cooperation relationships with universities, educational institutions, companies, and government agencies, both domestically and internationally. This is aimed at improving the quality of education and research at UNNES, as well as expanding its international cooperation network.

Before serving as Vice Rector, Prof. Dr. Nur Qudus, MT, IPM was the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at UNNES. During his tenure as Dean, he successfully improved the quality of education and research in the faculty and strengthened cooperation relationships with various parties.

Prof. Dr. Nur Qudus, MT, IPM is also a professor in the field of Water and Environmental Engineering in the Civil Engineering Department at UNNES. He obtained his doctoral degree in 2014 and also earned an IPM degree in 2019.

In addition to being active in education and research, Prof. Dr. Nur Qudus, MT, IPM is also involved in various professional and community organizations. Currently, he is trusted as the Chairman of the Indonesian Technology and Vocational Education Experts Association (PAPTEKINDO), an organization that aims to strengthen vocational and technological education in Indonesia.

With his extensive experience and competencies, Prof. Dr. Nur Qudus, MT, IPM is expected to continue contributing to improving the quality of education and research at UNNES and strengthening cooperation relationships with various parties, both domestically and internationally.
