Brief Profile

Bachelor of Law Study Program is the first at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Negeri Semarang. It de facto began its journey as a study program on September 4, 2001. Juridically, the Bachelor of Law Study Program received an operating permit on December 16, 2004, through the Directorate General of Higher Education Permit of the Ministry of National Education Number 4796/D/T / 2004. The Study Program preceded the establishment of the new Faculty of Law, which received permission to open the faculty on November 19, 2007, through the Opening Permit of the Faculty of Law at Universitas Negeri Semarang, Number 3840/D/T/2007.

To date, the Bachelor of Law Study Program has been accredited “Excellent” by BAN-PT and received international accreditation from the Agency for Quality Assurance through the Accreditation of Study Programmes (AQAS). In 2023, after 16 years of age, the Faculty of Law UNNES will have 21 journals, 13 of which have obtained accreditation nationally and internationally. This shows the commitment of the Study Program to be actively involved in developing legal discourse in Indonesia.
