Profil Singkat

Program Studi (Prodi) Magister Teknik Kimia-Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) merupakan program pendidikan lanjut pada jenjang S2 pada bidang Teknik Kimia yang berada di bawah naungan Jurusan Teknik Kimia, Fakultas Teknik, UNNES. Program ini didirikan untuk menghasilkan lulusan magister pada bidang teknik kimia yang mampu menganalisis, mengevaluasi, dan meningkatkan cara-cara inovasi pengolahan bahan baku menjadi produk, khususnya dari bahan alam terbarukan Indonesia. Prodi Magister Teknik Kimia-UNNES diharapkan menghasilkan lulusan yang berkualitas tinggi dan memiliki kompetensi yang dapat menerapkan dan mengembangkan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi yang dimilikinya pada dunia kerja. Prodi ini merupakan bidang ilmu pengembangan atau kelanjutan dari ilmu teknik kimia, ilmu kimia dasar, ilmu kimia terapan dan ilmu lingkungan. Dalam pengembangan dan pendalaman keilmuan, Prodi Magister Teknik Kimia-UNNES memiliki 4 (empat) kelompok bidang keahlian (KBK), yakni: Proses Rekayasa, Teknologi Bioproses dan pangan, Termodinamika terapan dan Teknologi Pemisahan, serta Teknologi Pengolahan Biomassa yang semuanya terfokus pada pengolahan bahan alam terbarukan.
