Deskripsi Program Studi

Prodi Biologi merupakan salah satu dari dua prodi di Jurusan Biologi. Program studi ini menyelenggarakan pendidikan di bidang biologi dengan tujuan untuk melahirkan Sarjana Sains (S.Si) di bidang Biologi.

Profil Lulusan

a. Kompetensi Utama
Mampu memanfaatkan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi terutama dalam bidang biologi secara terampil dan profesional serta bidang lain yang terkait dengan biologi, dapat menguasai secara cerdas konsep-konsep biologi untuk kegiatan produktif dalam rangka penyelesaikan masalah, serta memiliki ketangguhan dalam memformulasikan produk-produk bioteknologi berbasis kelestarian lingkungan dengan mendasarkan jiwa religius, toleran dan bertanggung jawab
b. Kompetensi Pendukung
Mampu mengkomunikasikan secara santun kajian-kajian biologi secara demokratis, dan mampu memberikan bimbingan kajian-kajian biologi secara demokratis.
c. Kompetensi lain
Mampu mengambil keputusan strategis berdasar analisis informasi dan data serta mengaplikasikan secara cerdas dan tangguh ICT untuk mendukung kelancaran pelaksanaan tugas/peranannya dalam memilih berbagai alternatif solusi, serta mampu bertanggung jawab pada pekerjaan sendiri maupun kerja organisasi dalam mengembangkan wirausaha berbasis biologi dengan tetap menjunjung prinsip dan nilai-nilai religius serta nasionalis.
