Profil Singkat

Program studi Sastra Inggris (S1) adalah program studi di bawah Universitas Negeri Semarang yang menyelenggarakan pendidikan bahasa dan sastra Inggris yang mencakup 6 bidang keilmuan yakni (1) ketrampilan berbahasa Inggris, (2) ilmu kebahasaan Inggris, (3)kesusastraan Inggris, (4)Penelitian bahasa dan sastra Inggris, (5) Ilmu kebahasaan terapan (khususnya bidang penerjemahan, kejurubahasaan, dan jurnalisme) serta (6) Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi, serta Kewirausahaan terkait Bahasa dan Sastra Inggris. Lulusan Prodi Sastra Inggris Unnes dapat bekerja di sejumlah sektor seperti Kementerian Luar Negeri, Kedutaan Besar, kepariwisataan, keimigrasian, media massa, pendidikan, serta lembaga lainnya yang membutuhkan ahli bahasa, sastra, dan budaya. Untuk pendukung pembelajaran, terdapat fasilitas berupa Laboratorium yang meliputi Laboratorium Bahasa, Laboratorium Teater dan Pertunjukan, serta laboratorium Multi-media. Untuk menambah wawasan mahasiwa dan menghubungkan pembelajaran dengan dunia kerja, Prodi Sastra Inggris berkolaborasi dengan berbagai lembaga pemerintah maupun swasta, universitas lain, dunia usaha dan industri di dalam maupun luar negeri.

Deskripsi Kelas Internasional

Kelas internasional Program Studi Sastra Inggris S1 FBS UNNES diselenggarakan untuk memberikan pajanan internasional yang intensif kepada mahasiswa dalam rangka menumbuhkan kesadaran terhadap posisi mereka sebagai bagian dari masyarakat dunia serta kepedulian untuk berkontribusi serta merespon berbagai isu internasional melalui kompetensi dalam bidang bahasa, sastra, dan budaya Inggris.
