Profil Singkat

Program Studi (Prodi) Pendidikan Sosiologi dan Antropologi merupakan salah satu Prodi yang berada di Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik (FISIP), Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES). Penyelenggaraan Prodi Pendidikan Sosiologi dan Antropologi dimulai pada 1 September 2001. Kemudian, secara resmi berdiri berdasarkan SK Pendirian Program Studi No. 139/D/T/2002, tertanggal 25 Januari 2002.

Prodi Pendidikan Sosiologi dan Antropologi bertujuan menghasilkan lulusan dalam bidang pengajaran Sosiologi dan Antropologi untuk tingkat pendidikan menengah. Lulusan Prodi Pendidikan Sosiologi dan Antropologi juga dibejali keterampilan dalam menganalisis dan merespon kondisi sosial budaya, serta jiwa kewirausahaan, sehingga juga memiliki kemampuan bekerja di bidang sosial budaya non pengajaran.

Prodi Pendidikan Sosiologi dan Antropologi telah meluluskan lebih dari 1.800an mahasiswa. Saat ini, memiliki 600an mahasiswa dengan dosen berjumlah 21 orang, yang terdiri dari 1 orang Guru Besar (Profesor), 10 orang bergelar Doktor dari perguruan tinggi dalam dan luar negeri, dan 6 orang sedang menempuh studi Doktoral.
