Profil Singkat

Program Studi Magister Pendidikan Geografi UNNES Unnes secara resmi berdasarkan Berdasarkan Izin Direktur Jenderal Pendidikan Tinggi No.47/KPT/2015 tanggal 20 Januari 2016 tentang Izin Penyelenggaraan Program Studi Pendidikan Geografi S2 pada Universitas Negeri Semarang. Keputusan Badan Akreditasi Nasional Perguruan Tinggi Nomor 2148 /BAN-PT/Ak-red / M /S2/VII/2019 tanggal 2 Juli 2019 Tentang Nilai dan Peringkat Akreditasi Program Studi pada Program Magister Pendidikan Geografi di Perguruan Tinggi. Program Magister Pendidikan Geografi menyelenggarakan program Pendidikan Geografi (S2) sesuai Standar Nasional Pendidikan Tinggi yang menghasilkan lulusan magister bidang Pendidikan Geografi. Sebagai Magister Pendidikan Geografi diharapkan memiliki kemampuan mengembangkan pendidikan geografi yang kreatif, inovatif, kreatif, kolaboratif dan responsif terhadap permasalahan pendidikan dan lingkungan. Sebagai magister Pendidikan Geografi diharapkan memiliki kemampuan mengembangkan teori dan model Pendidikan geografi diberbagai jenjang dan jenis pendidikan, disamping itu magister pendidikan geografi diharapkan juga memiliki kemampuan sebagai peneliti dibidang Pendidikan Geografi, dimana temuan atau hasil-hasil penelitiannya dapat memberi konstribusi dalam pengembangan pendidikan Geografi dan lingkungan. Untuk mencapai keluaran sebagaimana tersebut diatas ada empat capaian lulusan yang dijadikan sebagai acuan Pendidikan Geografi (S2), yaitu Capaian lulusan Sikap, Pengetahuan, Keterampilan umum dan Keterampilan Khusus.
