Brief Profile

The Doctoral Program in Mathematics Education at the Faculty of Mathematics & Natural Science offers advanced education for mathematics education professionals with ambitions to become academic leaders, researchers, and educational experts. With a focus on innovative research in mathematics education, this program provides opportunities for students to explore theoretical, methodological, and practical aspects of mathematics learning and teaching. The doctoral students will engage in original research that contributes to the development of knowledge in this field and explore a deep understanding of current mathematical theories and their application in educational contexts. With guidance from experienced lecturers, students are expected to be able to make significant contributions to the academic literature and develop innovative strategies to improve mathematics teaching practices. The program encourages collaboration and exchange of ideas among doctoral students, forming leaders who can drive positive change in mathematics education.
