Brief Profile

The Education Management Study Program is the first doctoral program at the Graduate School, Universitas Negeri Semarang, and was first held in 2005 based on the Decree of the Minister of National Education Number: 1365/D/T/2005, dated May 10, 2005. The opening of this Study Program is a form of appreciation, gratitude, and trust in the government of the Republic of Indonesia at Universitas Negeri Semarang because it is considered to have met the minimum requirements. Nevertheless, the Education Management Study Program must prepare and apply for study program accreditation to the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT).

The Educational Management Study Program has applied for accreditation to BAN-PT several times. After a long struggle, the Educational Management Study Program finally won “Unggul” Accreditation based on BAN-PT Decree No. 2921/SK/BAN-PT/Akred./D.V/2021, dated May 11, 2021. The Educational Management Study Program only received a “B” accreditation status in the previous accreditation process. The “Unggul” accreditation results are a form of recognition that the Study Program has met academic and administrative requirements. Therefore, it is reasonable if the Study Program can achieve the vision, mission, and goals proclaimed.
