Brief Profile

The Doctoral Study Program in Guidance and Counseling Education has “EXCELLENT” accreditation by LAMDIK accreditation in 2022. The Doctoral Study Program in Guidance and Counseling Education focuses on the theoretical development of new knowledge, technology, and art in guidance and counseling with a focus on the scientific development of individual counseling, group counseling, multicultural counseling, career counseling, online counseling, religious counseling, and human resource development that has an identity from normative-pedagogical and has a postmodern humanist paradigm. Graduates of the UNNES Postgraduate Guidance and Counseling Education Doctoral Study Program are expected to have comprehensive insight and scientific competence in guidance and counseling. They can find, create, and contribute to the development and practice of science, technology, and art in the field of guidance and counseling that is normative-pedagogical and has a strength-based paradigm through inter, multi, and transdisciplinary approaches, and develop scientific research that has received national and international recognition.
