Brief Profile

The Doctoral Program in Guidance and Counseling Education has been accredited as “EXCELLENT” according to the LAMDIK accreditation in 2022. This program emphasizes the theoretical development of new knowledge, technology, and arts in guidance and counseling, with a focus on the advancement of individual counseling, group counseling, multicultural counseling, career counseling, online counseling, religious counseling, and human resource development. These areas are rooted in a normative-pedagogical identity and a strengths-based paradigm.

Graduates of the Doctoral Program in Guidance and Counseling Education at UNNES are expected to possess a comprehensive understanding and competence in the field of guidance and counseling. They should be capable of discovering, creating, and contributing to the development and application of knowledge, technology, and arts within the field while maintaining a normative-pedagogical identity and a strengths-based paradigm. This is achieved through inter-, multi-, and transdisciplinary approaches, as well as by conducting scientific research recognized at both national and international levels.
