Brief Profile

Statistics and Data Science study program is a part of Faculty of Mathematics & Natural Science at Universitas Negeri Semarang which aims to produce graduates who are competent and capable in the field of statistics and data science and make them ready to enter the world of work.

The profile of study program graduates is to become academics and researchers as well as practitioners in the fields of statistics and data science, such as statisticians, data scientists, data analysts and data engineers. The excellent field of study in the UNNES Statistics and Data Science study program is related to statistical modeling and data soft computing which includes applications in various scientific and practical fields. The problem of extracting information and knowledge from data (data mining) is a fundamental problem that requires data modeling and soft computing in real world problems.
