Brief Profile

Elementary School Teacher Education is one of the most popular study programs at UNNES. In 2021, UNNES Student Admissions registrants reached 5,506 people: 1,993 from the SNMPTN, 2,271 from the SBMPTN, and 1,242 from the independent route. Public interest increased in SPMU 2023, with participants reaching 7,193, 2,733 for the SNMPTN route, 2,018 for the SBMPTN route, and 2,442 people for the Seleksi Mandiri. The study program has been known to the public since it was founded, and the Associate’s degree in Elementary School Teacher Education was held in 1991.

Starting in 2006, Elementary School Teacher Education held a bachelor’s degree based on establishment permit No. 3333/D/T/2006 dated 1 September 2006. From the input aspect, prospective students come from lower middle-class economic families and various work backgrounds, including civil servants, lecturers/teachers, private/non-private sector, laborers, retirees, soldiers, and police.
