Brief Profile

Islamic Economics and Finance Study Program was established in 2023 and is accredited at least by BAN-PT. This study program produces graduates with comparative and competitive advantages in developing and applying science and technology in Islamic Economics and Finance. The curriculum structure consists of compulsory courses from Universitas Negeri Semarang, Compulsory Courses from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Islamic Economics Courses, Sharia Business Courses, and Islamic Finance Courses, which are arranged in eight semesters that can improve other supporting competencies in producing graduates who understand the basic concepts of Islamic Economics and Finance so that they can adapt to the times such as communicating effectively, speak English, utilize information technology (fintech) and develop themselves smartly and toughly.

The main profile of graduates is expected to understand, understand and be able to apply the basic concepts and principles of Islamic Economics and Finance with a sense of responsibility and be able to understand, analyze, and solve problems in the field of Islamic Economics and Finance both nationally and internationally by prioritizing ethics and civility as well as nationalist values. The graduates of the Islamic Economics and Finance Study Program can master :

  1. Have comparative and competitive advantages in developing and applying science and technology in Islamic Economics and Finance. 
  2. Understand and be able to apply the basic concepts and principles of Islamic Economics and Finance with a sense of responsibility and able to understand, analyze, and solve problems in the field of Islamic Economics and Finance both nationally and internationally by prioritizing ethics and civility as well as nationalist values.
  3. Able to communicate effectively by utilizing and applying information technology and English and developing themselves to think logically and analytically to solve problems professionally, intelligently, resiliently, and responsibly.
  4. Able to uphold norms, values, and religion, develop entrepreneurial spirit and attitude and develop and devote themselves to society and cooperate and adapt in the work environment by upholding democratic, national, and responsible
