Profil Singkat

Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia (PBSI) UNNES didirikan untuk melahirkan guru Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia yang profesional. Pengalaman panjang, kualitas dosen berkualifikasi profesor dan doktor, serta jaringan kerja sama yang luas membuat Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia UNNES adalah adalah salah satu Prodi PBSI terbaik di Tanah Air. 

Dengan slogan “Memuliakan Bangsa Melalui Bahasa dan Sastra”, Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia  UNNES terus mengembangkan keilmuan bidang bahasa dan sastra untuk mendidik talenta muda.

Prodi telah mampu mengantarkan saya menjadi dosen –Prof. Dr. RUSTONO, M.Hum., dosen FBS Unnes, mantan dekan FBS, dan sekarang menjabat Kaprodi S2 dan S3 Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia, Unnes.

Dipimpin begawan-begawan prodi ini telah menghasilkan lulusan-lulusan berkarakter mantap. –MUHAMAD SAFII, Kepala SMP Negeri 1 Karangrayung Purwodadi, Guru Berprestasi tahun 2004.

Banyak hal yang saya dapatkan dari Jurusan PBSI. Bekal ilmu, pengetahuan, dan pengalaman berkegiatan dalam hal kebahasaan dan kesastraan telah menjadi modal dasar bagi saya untuk berbagi hal tersebut kepada siswa, teman-teman guru di sekolah maupun di MGMP dan mahasiswa saya di PGSD UT. Hubungan dan komunikasi yang terus terjalin dengan dosen-dosen PBSI untuk mengikuti perkembangan kebahasaan dan kesastraan semakin menguatkan saya dalam berbagai ilmu dan pengetahuan, terutama bahasa dan sastra —SEPTININGSIH, M.Pd., Kepala SMP N Bobotsari, Purbalingga.
