Semarang — As a form of care for the continuity of students’ studies, professors from the Biology Study Program of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), provided Single Tuition Fee (UKT) assistance and research funding support to 50 final-year Biology students.
This activity in March 2025 is a tangible manifestation of the professors’ care and commitment during the month of Ramadan to support students so they can complete their studies successfully. The assistance is expected to ease the burden of educational financing while helping students meet their research needs as an essential part of completing their final projects.
For final-year students, completing their studies requires not only academic readiness, but also financial support to meet various needs, ranging from tuition fee payments to conducting research. Through this assistance, the Biology professors strive to provide support so that students can focus more on undergoing their academic processes and completing their research on time.
The provision of this aid also reflects the spirit of solidarity and intergenerational care among academics within FMIPA UNNES. The professors play a role not only in the advancement of science and education, but also actively participate in supporting the welfare and success of students.
This support is expected to serve as motivation for students to remain enthusiastic, maintain their academic commitment, and complete their studies with the best possible results. Furthermore, this initiative is expected to strengthen the culture of mutual care and cooperation in the academic environment, while emphasizing the important role of the academic community in creating an inclusive educational environment that supports student success.
Through this activity, the extended family of the Biology Study Program at FMIPA UNNES hopes that all aid recipients can utilize the support optimally, complete their research, and soon earn their bachelor’s degrees to continue contributing to society and the advancement of science.
