Laboratory

Laboratorium di FMIPA Universitas Negeri Semarang sangat berperan dalam proses pembelajaran mahasiswa khususnya pada kegiatan praktikum dan memberikan dampak positif yang sangat signifikan dalam peningkatan kualitas akademik.

Setiap jurusan di FMIPA telah memiliki laboratorium yang representatif untuk menunjang pelayanan praktikum mahasiswa dan dosen pada kegiatan pembelajaran, penelitian, maupun pengabdian kepada masyarakat.

The laboratory at FMIPA Semarang State University plays a very important role in the student learning process, especially in practicum activities and has a very significant positive impact on improving academic quality.

Each department at FMIPA has a representative laboratory to support practicum services for students and lecturers in learning activities, research, and community service.

Mathematics Laboratory

The Mathematics Laboratory occupies a three-story building, namely building D10, which consists of:

Mathematics Learning Media Development Laboratory;
Microteaching Laboratory;
Computer lab;
Computer Network Laboratory;
Multimedia Laboratory.
Physics Laboratory

The Physics Laboratory occupies a three-story building, namely building D9, which consists of:

Basic Physics Laboratory;
Workshop laboratory;
Basic Electronics Laboratory;
Educational Physics Laboratory;
Modern Physics Laboratory;
Optical Wave Laboratory ;
Computational Physics Laboratory;
Development Laboratory;
Medical Physics Laboratory;
Electronics and Instrumentation Laboratory;
Material Characterization Laboratory.
Chemistry lab

The Chemical Laboratory occupies a three-story building, namely building D8, which consists of:

Basic Chemistry Laboratory;
Inorganic Chemistry Laboratory;
Organic Chemistry-Biochemistry Laboratory;
Physical Chemistry Laboratory;
Analytical Chemistry Laboratory;
Computing Laboratory;
Microteaching Laboratory;
Research Laboratory.

Biology lab

The Biology Laboratory occupies a three-story building, namely building D11, which consists of:

Biochemistry Laboratory;
Microbiology Laboratory;
Plant Physiology Laboratory;
Test Laboratory;
Multimedia Laboratory;
Microtechnical Laboratory;
Animal Physiology Laboratory;
Ecology Laboratory;
Plant Taxonomy and Morphology Laboratory;
Development Structure Laboratory;
Animal Taxonomy Laboratory;
Genetics Laboratory;
Biomolecular Laboratory;
Research Laboratory;
Tissue Culture Laboratory;
Microteaching Laboratory;
Experimental Animal Cage.

Integrated Science Laboratory

The Integrated Science Laboratory is located in building D1 Floor 1, which consists of:

Science Laboratory;
Environmental Science Laboratory;
IPA Media Laboratory.
Computer Science Laboratory

The Computer Science Laboratory is located in buildings D1 Floor 3 and D2 Floor 2, which consist of:

Software Engineering Laboratory;
Computer Network Laboratory;
Multimedia Laboratory.

Each of these laboratories has been equipped with various kinds of laboratory tools and materials used to support practicum activities according to their respective needs.
