Circulation services aim to assist readers in the process of borrowing, returning and renewing library materials. The lending service procedure in circulation includes book selection activities until the book can be borrowed by the user through the borrowing process in the circulation services section. Meanwhile, the service procedure for returning and extending library materials includes the activity of handing over the borrowed library until the officer processes the return or extension of the library in the circulation services section.

B. Lending Services

Steps:

  1. The user hands over the book to be borrowed along with the library membership card (KTM).
  2. The officer inputs the data on the books borrowed into the Slims application database ([email protected])
  3. The officer puts a return date stamp on the tongue of the book (data due slip).
  4. The officer handed back the book to be borrowed to the user.

C. Terms of Borrowing Library Materials

The loan conditions that must be brought are:

  1. Active library membership card and book loan ticket bag.
  2. Only circulation collections may be borrowed.
  3. You can borrow a maximum of 2 copies of books for students, 3 copies for lecturers and staff with different titles.
  4. The loan period is 7 days or 1 week, holidays and red dates are not counted.
  5. Can be extended once provided the book status is not too late.
  6. Borrowing and returning transactions are carried out at the Library circulation service

D. Return and Loan Extension Services

  1. The user submits the borrowed library materials along with the library membership card.
The officer inputs data on borrowed library materials into the return circulation menu in the SLIMS application database.
  2. The officer checks the appropriateness of the return date for library materials. If the return date is appropriate, the officer processes the return of library materials into the returns circulation menu. If the return date does not match, the user must pay a late fee.
