SEMARANG (15/02) The Semarang State University Service Team chaired by Dr. Sunarto S.H., M.Si. held a training on the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in designing Technological, Pedagogical, And Content Knowledge (TPACK) based learning, this activity was carried out with the aim of improving teacher skills in designing innovative learning that utilizes technology and is student-centered.
This activity was attended by 20 participants, productive teachers from SMA Sedes Sapientiae Semarang who have an interest in developing their teaching skills.All participants who took part in the activity were those who officially registered with the committee.Participants followed the activities with enthusiasm and participated in the activities. This activity is an implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, UNNES lecturers are encouraged to participate in improving the quality of education in Indonesia.

This training has very important benefits in the context of their education and professional development.Collected from the participants, here are some of the benefits of the training activities on the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in designing Technological, Pedagogical, And Content Knowledge (TPACK) based learning for teachers:1)Improve skills in using new technology, teachers are able to utilize AI technology to inspire and create lesson plans well and quickly; 2) Improve teachers’ understanding of the TPACK concept and its application in learning;
In an effort to improve the quality of teacher writing, the service team implemented strategies: 1) The Preparation Stage, through consultation with the school to identify what problems are felt by teachers in carrying out their professional duties, and what is needed related to the perceived problems; 2) Implementation Stage, including conditioning of training participants and presentation of training materials; and 3) Feedback stage, with direct discussion to explore the responses of training participants about the usefulness of training materials for participants and the feasibility of training materials to be applied in learning at school.
By participating in this activity, participants thought that this training activity brought significant benefits in improving teachers’ understanding of the TPACK concept and its application in learning.Participants managed to hone their skills in designing innovative learning strategies with ChatGPT Artificial Intelligence technology. Participants hope that this kind of activity can continue to be implemented and sustainable, collaboration between lecturers and teachers to improve the quality of education in Indonesia.
