The ceremony was presided over by Prof. Dr. Nur Qudus, M.T., IPM, Vice Rector IV for Cooperation, Business, and International Relations, who passionately reminded the attendees of the significance of the National Awakening Day commemoration.
Prof. Nur Qudus expressed, “The high level of trust from the world in Indonesia is a momentum to implement the spirit of national awakening as we welcome the post-pandemic COVID-19 era and the journey towards Indonesia Emas 2045.” He quoted the words of Dr. Soetomo, one of the national heroes, stating, “Generations willing to strive for the self-reliance of their nation are the ones who love their future generations and love their homeland.”
