Program Study Curiculum

The curriculum of the Development Economics S1 Study Program is prepared with an Outcome-Based Education (OBE) approach that is oriented towards graduate learning outcomes (CPL) and stakeholder needs. Curriculum development begins with the formulation of graduate profiles that reflect the competencies that students must have after completing their studies, then lowered to CPL, study materials, courses, learning methods and integrated assessments. This curriculum refers to the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI) level 6 for undergraduate programs (Presidential Regulation No. 8 of 2012) and Permendikbudristek Number 53 of 2023 concerning Quality Assurance of Higher Education. The implementation of the Development Economics Study Program curriculum has been officially determined through the Decree of the Rector of Universitas Negeri Semarang Number B/3294/UN37/HK.02/2024. To ensure the quality of its implementation, the learning process is supported by a quality assurance system that has gained international recognition through AUN-QA (ASEAN University Network – Quality Assurance) certification and ISO 21001:2018 certification within UNNES. In its implementation, this curriculum provides space to strengthen interests through four concentrations, namely Regional Economics, Public Economics, Monetary and Financial Economics, and Resource and Agricultural Economics. Graduates are expected to have strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills, as well as be able to adapt to the dynamics of economic development at the local, national, and global levels.

Based on a curriculum that focuses on graduate learning achievement (CPL) which includes hard skills and soft skills to prepare graduates who are internationally competitive. The lecture system in the Development Economics Study Program consists of 60% economic theory material, 26% research, and 11% application of analytical tools, graduates of the Development Economics Study Program are expected to be able to identify, analyze and provide solutions to economic problems.
