Semarang — Students from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), are participating in the Global Student Mobility program held in Malaysia. This program is part of an effort to strengthen academic experience, enhance competencies, and expand students’ international networks on a global scale.
The mobility program involves students from the Chemistry, Chemistry Education, and Mathematics Education study programs. The activities are carried out under two schemes, namely the Prigel program in collaboration with Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and the Lantip program in partnership with Sekolah Indonesia Kuala Lumpur (SIKL).
Students from the Chemistry study program participating in the Prigel program at UTM include Ghaisani Nabilah Shafa, Alica Rahma, Winny Destriani M., Sandy Ma’arif Wijaya, Diyah Rismiyati, and Rayan Athallah. The program runs for one month, from May 12 to June 8.
Meanwhile, students from the Chemistry Education and Mathematics Education study programs are participating in the Lantip program at SIKL. The participants include Yasmin Putri Mahlinasha, Nafalia Anastasia, Galan Zhakaria Anwar, Adelia Pramesti Nugroho, Faiza Jasmine Syakir, Khayla Syahda Revani, and Indah Wulan Hidayah. This program also runs for one month, from May 3 to May 31.

This program provides students with the opportunity to engage directly in an international academic environment through learning activities, field practice, and cross-cultural interactions. Through this experience, students are expected to develop a global perspective and enhance their adaptability in international settings.
The participation of students in this program is also expected to contribute positively to institutional development while strengthening the role of UNNES on the international stage. Participants are expected to uphold the good name of their alma mater and bring back valuable experiences that can be applied to the advancement of knowledge in the future.
