Kurikulum Program Studi

Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM)

Kurikulum program studi di Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik dilengkapi dengan penekanan pada kemandirian belajar, baik pada aspek kelembagaan pendidikan, dosen, maupun khususnya mahasiswa. Kurikulum tahun 2020 ini diberi nama Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar–Kampus Merdeka (MBKM).

Kurikulum yang merujuk pada kebebasan belajar memberikan otonomi kepada perguruan tinggi untuk merancang sistem birokrasi pembelajaran yang sederhana namun tetap mutakhir sehingga dosen dapat mengajar dengan optimal. Mahasiswa dapat belajar sesuai mata kuliah dan pengalaman pembelajaran yang ingin mereka dalami dan kembangkan. Penguasaan bidang ilmu yang tepat akan sangat berguna ketika memasuki dunia kerja.

Dasar hukum kebijakan Merdeka Belajar dapat dilihat pada Permendikbud No. 3 Tahun 2020 tentang Standar Nasional Pendidikan Tinggi, bagian Pasal 18, yang menjelaskan bahwa pemenuhan waktu belajar dan beban belajar mahasiswa program sarjana dapat dilakukan dalam dua cara: pertama, mahasiswa mengikuti proses pembelajaran pada program studi asal di perguruan tinggi sesuai waktu dan beban studi mereka. Landasan hukum inilah yang menjadi acuan Program Studi di FISIP UNNES dalam menyempurnakan kurikulum.

Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar–Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) memiliki tujuh kelompok mata kuliah, yaitu: Mata Kuliah Universitas (MKU); Mata Kuliah Dasar Keahlian (MKDK); Mata Kuliah Fakultas Ilmu Sosial (MKFIS); Mata Kuliah Program Studi; Mata Kuliah Program; Mata Kuliah Sekolah (Pengenalan Lapangan Persekolahan, Kuliah Kerja Nyata, Skripsi / PLP–KKN–Skripsi); dan Mata Kuliah Pengembangan Pilihan (MKPP). Kelompok mata kuliah ini mencakup berbagai mata kuliah yang dibagi ke dalam delapan semester. Total mata kuliah selama lima semester pertama adalah 52 mata kuliah dengan beban 110 SKS yang wajib diambil seluruh mahasiswa di setiap program studi.

Selanjutnya pada semester 6, program studi menawarkan sepuluh mata kuliah dengan total 20 SKS. Terdapat dua skenario pada semester ini. Pertama, mahasiswa dapat mengambil seluruh mata kuliah di program studi masing-masing. Kedua, mahasiswa berhak mengambil sebagian mata kuliah di luar program studi dalam lingkungan UNNES atau di program studi serupa maupun berbeda di luar UNNES. Beberapa mata kuliah dalam kelompok MKPP dirancang untuk dilaksanakan menggunakan platform pembelajaran daring (online).

Terakhir, terdapat mata kuliah magang, pengabdian masyarakat, dan tugas akhir yang ditawarkan pada semester 7 dan 8. Mata kuliah ini bersifat wajib dengan total 14 SKS. Pelaksanaan mata kuliah tersebut bekerja sama dengan lembaga terkait tempat mahasiswa melakukan magang, pemerintah daerah tempat pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan, serta proses penyusunan tugas akhir. Ke depan, pelaksanaan magang, pengabdian masyarakat, dan tugas akhir dapat diintegrasikan secara bersamaan. Melalui kurikulum baru ini, program studi menawarkan kualifikasi sarjana dengan total 144 SKS.
