The assembly was led by Prof. Erni Suharini, Coordinator of the Master’s Program in Geography Education, who served as the ceremony inspector. In her remarks, she expressed gratitude for the opportunity to return to campus activities after the holiday break.

“Let us give thanks to God Almighty, for by His grace we are able to gather here in good health after the Eid holiday,” she said.

Still in the spirit of the Syawal month, Prof. Erni also extended her Eid greetings to all participants.

“Happy Eid al-Fitr 1447 H, Minal Aidin Wal Faizin, please forgive any past mistakes. May this moment allow us to start anew with a clean and sincere heart,” she added.

During the assembly, she highlighted several important points for lecturers and staff. First, the Midterm Examinations (UTS) are scheduled for April 6–10, 2026. Therefore, lecturers are expected to ensure that class meetings are completed up to the seventh session this week.

Second, all study program coordinators were encouraged to immediately carry out their planned programs after the holiday to meet faculty targets and optimize budget absorption.

Third, she noted that research proposals are currently under evaluation, with the results to be announced soon, followed by contract signings.

Additionally, Nugrahani Arumsari was officially introduced as the new Coordinator of the Communication Science Study Program.

Following the assembly, the Dean of FISIP, Prof. Arif Purnomo, led a handshake session among lecturers and staff, creating a warm and collegial atmosphere.

On the first day of in-person classes after the holiday, academic activities resumed as usual. Students were seen engaging in lectures and coursework.

Mahesa Kusumah, a History student, said he immediately continued working on assignments. “Today, I am working on historiography and military history tasks,” he said.

Meanwhile, Mohamad Ridho Ramadhani, a Communication Science student, attended a Theory of Communication class and delivered a presentation in Organizational Communication. “On the first day back, I also introduced the FISIP UNNES environment to two students from France, Nathan and Jade,” he explained.
