The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences of Universitas Negeri Semarang (FISIP UNNES) conducted a final thesis monitoring session for the Class of 2022, involving students’ parents or guardians, on 5 February 2026 at the 3rd Floor Hall of Building C7, FISIP UNNES. This initiative reflects the faculty’s commitment to ensuring students’ academic progress and timely completion of their studies.
The monitoring session aimed to provide a comprehensive overview of students’ thesis progress while fostering effective communication between the faculty and parents or guardians. During the forum, faculty leaders and study program representatives presented updates on students’ thesis development, the challenges encountered, and strategies to accelerate completion.
The involvement of parents or guardians in this process was considered essential in providing moral and academic support for students. Through transparent communication and coordinated efforts, students are expected to complete their final projects on time while maintaining academic quality.
This initiative also serves as a strategic measure to strengthen the achievement of Key Performance Indicator (KPI) 1, which focuses on improving graduate quality and ensuring timely graduation. Through structured supervision and periodic evaluation, FISIP UNNES strives to maintain academic standards while increasing on-time graduation rates.
Furthermore, the monitoring activity aligns with FISIP UNNES’s commitment to supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, which emphasizes inclusive, effective, and outcome-oriented higher education. By ensuring optimal guidance for students through the final stage of their studies, FISIP UNNES contributes to the development of high-quality and competitive human resources.
Through this initiative, FISIP UNNES reaffirms that students’ academic success is a shared responsibility among the institution, students, and their families, in order to produce graduates who are competent, ethical, and ready to contribute to society.
