The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) is preparing to undergo the Internal Quality Audit (AMI), which is being conducted simultaneously across all faculties from October 20 to 29, 2025. The audit is part of the university’s ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of education and ensure that all academic standards are properly implemented.
The activity is based on a circular issued by the Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs, Prof. Zaenuri, emphasizing the importance of AMI in maintaining and improving the institution’s quality assurance system.
Dean of FISIP, Prof. Arif Purnomo, stated that the faculty is fully prepared for the internal audit. Each study program, he explained, has compiled its performance reports as part of the evaluation process.“FISIP is ready for the internal audit. Every program has been informed about its timeline and prepared the necessary data, which can also be used later for accreditation purposes,” Prof. Arif said on Tuesday October 22, 2025.
The audit at FISIP will take place in stages throughout the ten day period, with each study program evaluated by two auditors assigned by the UNNES Quality Assurance Office.
Head of the Quality Assurance Office, Prof. Rudi Hartono, noted that the audit serves as a key indicator of the university’s future performance.“The results of this Internal Quality Audit will reflect the success of next year’s accreditation outcomes,” he said.
Coordinator of the History Study Program, Mokhamad Shokheh, confirmed that his team had completed all required documentation well in advance“All forms and supporting documents were finalized a month ago. We are ready to present our data during the audit,” he said.
Through the Internal Quality Audit, UNNES aims to strengthen its culture of quality assurance and enhance the readiness of its faculties and study programs in achieving both national and international accreditation standards.
