Sociology and Anthropology Education Study Program FISIP UNNES successfully held the Educational Institution Field Study (KLLP) program on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, involving 133 students from the Sociology and Anthropology Education Study Program. The activity took place in three schools across Bali Province: SMA Negeri 1 Gianyar, SMA Negeri 1 Tampaksiring, and SMA Gandhi Memorial Intercontinental School.
The KLLP program is an integral part of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) curriculum, designed to strengthen the pedagogical, social, and professional competencies of future educators. Through this field experience, students gain firsthand insights into school management, educational climate and culture, digital literacy, school partnerships, and ethnopedagogy as a model of culturally rooted learning.
The accompanying lecturers included Dr. Elly Kismini, Dr. Nurul Fatimah, Prof. Dr. Thriwaty Arsal, Dr. Atika Wijaya, Dr. Moh. Solehatul Mustofa, and Didi Pramono, M.Pd. They guided students in exploring various themes such as education management, school digitalization, and ethnopedagogical learning. In addition to observation, students conducted interviews, documentation, and analytical studies of educational practices in the partner schools.
This program directly contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) by enhancing the competencies of future educators and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through academic collaboration between UNNES and educational institutions in Bali.
The Study Program Coordinator, Dr. Atika Wijaya, S.A.P., M.Si., emphasized that this activity not only broadens students’ academic perspectives but also strengthens values of conservation and inter-institutional collaboration.
“KLLP is a tangible manifestation of our commitment to cultivating future educators who are characterized, adaptive to change, and globally minded while remaining rooted in local cultural values,” she stated.
With the theme “Make it Fun, Make it Count,” the 2025 KLLP program stands as a strategic step toward realizing contextual, inspiring, and relevant learning in sociology and anthropology education—aligning academic excellence with the principles of sustainable development.
