FISIP achieved remarkable success at the 2025 Ormawa Sports and Arts Week (Porseni). FISIP students brought home a total of Nine medals, consisting of one gold, four silver, and four bronze.

One of the highlights came from Deftian Isya Mahendra, a History student, who won the gold medal in the Male Solo Vocal competition, outperforming contestants from nine participants.

“I feel very happy and quite satisfied to win again for FISIP in various events. The preparation was solid this time, especially since this is my last chance to compete at the university level because I’m now in my seventh semester,” Deftian said after the award ceremony on Sunday (October 12, 2025).

He expressed hope that younger students would continue the tradition of excellence. “I hope future generations from FISIP will carry this forward,” he added.

Most of the silver medals were earned in the women’s team table tennis event, marking another strong performance for FISIP in both sports and arts categories.

Dean of FISIP UNNES, Prof. Arif Purnomo, congratulated all participating students. “Congratulations and success to all FISIP students, both those who won medals and those who didn’t. Hopefully, this Ormawa Sports and Arts Week will strengthen friendship and camaraderie among student activists,” he said.

The Ormawa Sports and Arts Week took place over four days, from Thursday (October 9) to Sunday (October 12), at the UNNES campus in Sekaran, Gunungpati, Semarang. The event serves as a platform for students to showcase their talents, creativity, and sportsmanship in a spirit of togetherness.
