Semarang, September 12, 2025 – Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) officially released 2,217 students participating in the LANTIP Batch 6 program at the Prof. Wuryanto Auditorium, UNNES, on Friday (12/9).
This year’s LANTIP 6 program involves 109 schools and 5 strategic partner institutions: the Police Academy (AKPOL), the Semarang Religious Training Center, the Central Java Educational Quality Assurance Agency (BBPMP), the Regional Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDMD) of Central Java Province, and the Semarang City Education Office. The presence of these cross-institutional partners is expected to provide students with diverse field experiences, broaden their perspectives, and strengthen UNNES’s partnership network.
In her remarks, the Chair of the Institute for Educational and Professional Development (LPPP) UNNES, Prof. Dr. Rodiyah, S.Pd., S.H., M.Si., emphasized the importance of this program as a medium for developing student competencies. “LANTIP serves as a bridge for students to apply their knowledge, build character, and expand professional networks before fully entering the workforce,” she said.
Meanwhile, the Rector of UNNES, Prof. Dr. S. Martono, M.Si., expressed his appreciation to all students and partners for their support in implementing the program. “LANTIP provides students with the opportunity to hone their skills while serving the community through real activities in the field,” he stated.
The students will carry out field practice, learning assistance, and the development of innovative programs tailored to the characteristics of each partner institution from September 12 to November 6, 2025. The participation of 2,217 students is expected to bring a positive impact to schools and partner institutions while also serving as valuable experience for their professional careers. Of this total, around 274 students from FISIP are joining the LANTIP 6 program.
With its expanding scale of participation, LANTIP 6 reaffirms UNNES’s commitment to continuously strengthening educational collaboration, improving graduate quality, and contributing to the development of excellent human resources at the local, regional, and national levels.
The LANTIP 6 program is also aligned with the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) by providing students with relevant and meaningful learning experiences. In addition, the involvement of various partner institutions supports Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through cross-institutional collaboration. The presence of students in schools and institutions also contributes to Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by equipping them with essential skills and professional networks needed in the workforce.
