E-Journal Access Training for FISIP UNNES Academics

On Thursday (29/2), the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) of Semarang State University (UNNES) held a training entitled “E-Journal Access for FISIP UNNES Academic Community”. This collaboration is a joint effort with UPT Perpustakaan UNNES in increasing the accessibility and use of digital information sources among lecturers and students.

The event, which took place in Building C7 on the 3rd floor, was attended by a number of enthusiastic FISIP UNNES lecturers and students. The participants were invited to learn more about e-journal access as one of the main means of obtaining relevant and up-to-date academic information.

One of the speakers who contributed to this event was Dr. Evi Widowati, S.KM., M.Kes. from the Faculty of Medicine UNNES, who provided insight into the importance of utilizing e-journals in research and learning. Other materials presented included effective information search techniques and improving information literacy in the digital era.

Responding to this activity, Dr. Sos.
Puji Lestari, S.Pd., M.Si., as Vice Dean for Field III FISIP UNNES, expressed her hope that this training can be a trigger for FISIP UNNES academicians to be more productive in producing quality articles. This is in line with the faculty’s efforts to encourage research based on reliable and up-to-date information sources.

With the collaboration between FISIP UNNES and UPT Perpustakaan UNNES through this training activity, it is expected that there will be a significant increase in the understanding and utilization of digital information sources in the academic environment, which in turn will have a positive impact on the development of science and the quality of research produced.
