The Faculty of Social Sciences, Semarang State University (FISIP UNNES) held a Higher Education Scouting Orientation event in 2023. With the theme “Scouts as Pioneers of Civic Fitness (Professional and Proportional Human Resource Capital)” on Saturday (26/8/2023).

OKPT FISIP UNNES in 2023 presents a vibrant atmosphere amidst the diversity of cultures, tribes, religions, and ethnicities that exist. Kak Antari as the Princess Coach of the Social Science Training Group 14.112 UNNES said that OKPT is a place to introduce scouting more closely to students, because new students are less interested in scouting activities.

Meanwhile, Kak Noor Rochmat as the Head of Semarang City Front Force 14.111 Semarang State University said that OKPT is a tradition of Semarang State University which has been carried out for almost 40 years, the goal is extraordinary, namely combining the formal and non-formal education curriculum so that in scouting there will be a General Proficiency Requirement (SKU) and Special Proficiency Requirement (SKK) which hopefully through scouting education will complete the competence of young shoots towards golden Indonesia.

Kak Puji Lestari, Vice Dean III of FISIP who represented the Dean, conveyed a message in his speech “for younger siblings of students to be enthusiastic about participating in this 2023 OKPT event” then he opened the event by reading Basmallah together and asking for enthusiasm for younger siblings of students by inviting two claps of scouts.

The OKPT 2023 FISIP UNNES activity was attended by 1.202 new students. The activity held at FISIP UNNES Field was also entertained with Gambyong dance by three FISIP UNNES female dancers.
