FISIP UNNES and Eurasia Foundation Join Hands for Education, Research, and Community Engagement

On Wednesday, June 7, a significant milestone was reached as a Memorandum of Understanding in the fields of education, research, and community engagement was established between the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Semarang State University (UNNES) and Eurasia Foundation (From Asia).

This momentous agreement was formalized through the signing of the Implementation of Agreement (IA) document. Dr. Arif Purnomo, S.Pd., S.S., M.Pd., the Dean of FISIP UNNES, and Ms. Diani Risda, S.Pd., M.Ed., a lecturer at UPI and a representative of Eurasia Foundation Indonesia, signed the document, symbolizing the commencement of this collaborative journey.

The scope of this collaboration encompasses Institutional Development, spanning education, research, and community engagement across all departments and study programs within FISIP UNNES. This partnership involves various departments and study programs, including:

  1. Bachelor of Education in History (S1)
  2. Bachelor of History (S1)
  3. Bachelor of Education in Geography (S1)
  4. Bachelor of Geography (S1)
  5. Bachelor of Education in Pancasila and Citizenship (S1)
  6. Bachelor of Political Science (S1)
  7. Bachelor of Education in Sociology and Anthropology (S1)
  8. Bachelor of Education in Social Sciences (S1)

This collaboration marks the second year of partnership between FISIP UNNES and Eurasia Foundation (From Asia). In the previous year, this partnership successfully organized Conservation Education courses, bringing in speakers from both domestic and international arenas.

The joint efforts of FISIP UNNES and Eurasia Foundation aim to enrich the educational landscape, drive impactful research, and strengthen community bonds. This partnership signifies a commitment to furthering the cause of education, research, and community engagement.
