The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), Universitas Negeri Semarang added another number of professors. The new professor was confirmed on Wednesday, 5 July 2023 at the UNNES Auditorium building. At the inauguration, Universitas Negeri Semarang confirmed 10 professors from 6 faculties, namely FT (2 Professors), FBS (1 Professor), FISIP (2 Professors), FEB (2 Professors), FIK (1 Professor), FMIPA (2 Professors).
One of the new professors from the Faculty of Economics and Business UNNES who has been confirmed is:
Prof. Dr. Amin Pujiati, S.E., M.Sc.
Professor of Environmental Economics
Prof. Dr. Amin Pujiati, S.E., M.Sc. is a Professor (Professor) of the Faculty of Economics and Business UNNES in the field of Environmental Economics. He presented a scientific oration entitled “Model of Regional Competitiveness Balance Based on the Sustainable Development Index as an Acceleration of Achievement of SDGs”. He stated that policies to accelerate the achievement of SDSs include increasing information and communication media, building housing based on community institutions, increasing low-income families in livable homes, providing adequate bicycle paths, increasing the number of environmentalist communities, and increasing the number of public spaces in waterfront areas. The implications for regional policies include (1) each region formulates policies based on disadvanted conditions from both objective and subjective data; (2) compiling a competitiveness balance based on the sustainable development index must be carried out in a sustainable manner; (3) the assessment is carried out by considering local wisdom; and (4) integration between disciplines.
Hopefully the addition of new professors will further increase the motivation of the academic community in the FEB UNNES environment to realize the brilliance of FEB UNNES.
