On Wednesday, March 6, 2024, the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Semarang State University (UNNES) will hold an extraordinary meeting involving all important elements in their academic environment. In the event held in the Hall of Building L1 FEB UNNES, final year students along with parents or guardians of students will meet with academics to overcome study obstacles faced and strengthen communication between parties.
The event entitled “Finding Solutions Together: Meeting of the FEB UNNES Academic Community with Students and Student Guardians” aims to understand more deeply the obstacles and problems faced by students in completing their studies. By involving parents or guardians of students, FEB UNNES hopes to gain greater insight into the challenges faced by students.
The discussion will begin openly by involving the entire FEB UNNES academic community and parents or guardians of students, which will be guided by the Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs. After that, the discussion will continue separately based on the respective study programs to allow for a more in-depth investigation of the problem at hand.
Not only that, this event also provides closed counseling sessions for students and parents or guardians of students. In this session, the FEB UNNES academic community will try to explore every obstacle and problem experienced by participants, provide solutions that can be done directly, and record problems that require further handling.
“This meeting is a manifestation of our commitment to provide comprehensive support for the academic success of our students. We believe that by listening and working together, we can find effective solutions to every challenge faced by students,” said Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs FEB UNNES.
The results of this meeting will be the basis for faculty leaders in designing more concrete and sustainable solutions. FEB UNNES hopes that this event will not only strengthen the relationship between students, parents or guardians of students, and the academic community, but will also create a more conducive environment for academic success for all parties involved.
