UNNES Chancellor Dispatched 10 Exchange Students to China

The Chancellor of Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) Prof. Dr. Fathur Rahhman MHum dispatched 10 UNNES students for Students Exchange to Fuqing Branch of Fujian Normal University, China, on Monday (10/22/2018) at the UNNES rector office in Sekaran Gunungpati.
Students Exchange will be held from 29 October to 11 November 2018.
The ten students were five from the Language and Arts Faculty (FBS) namely Cintia Nugraha, Desca Ratu L, Dimas Pramata S, Nadia Bella Oktavia, Ashanti Dayani A, four students from Sport Science Faculty (FIK) (Aribah Tuffahati, Dyah Ayu P, Ettania Agustina, MirantiNur A) and Pungki Andini from Faculty of Economic (FE).
They will be accompanied by Wati Istanti MPd Indonesian Language and Literature Department Lecturer as coordinator of the Chinese Culture Experience Entitled Camp program Love Bonded by Maritim Silk Road.
While there they will carry out a series of programs in which they learn Chinese culture and Indonesian cultural exchanges.
In addition, UNNES students will also feature Semarang dance, poetry musicalization with traditional musical instruments, tutorials with peers through the Indonesian Language Program for Foreign Speakers (BIPA), and batik training.
UNNES Chancellor Prof. Fathur Rokhman advised the ten students to take advantage of this opportunity as well as possible and be a motivation for the other students.
“You are lucky students because you can beat 36,000 other students to take part in this excellent program,” said Prof. Fathur.
He hopes that this kind of activity will become a potential and continuous program to further strengthen cooperation between UNNES and Fuqing Branch of Fujian Normal University.
