Tahun kedua, UNNES Lanjutkan Pendampingan Rintisan Agrowisata Berbasis Komunitas di Batang

Tim Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) kembali melaksanakan Program Pemberdayaan Wilayah (PW) pada tahun kedua melalui kegiatan bertajuk Penguatan Kapasitas dan Kemandirian Desa melalui Rintisan Agrowisata Berbasis Komunitas di Desa Pesantren, Kecamatan Blado, Kabupaten Batang.

Program multiyear periode 2025–2027 ini didanai oleh Direktorat Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat, Direktorat Jenderal Riset dan Pengembangan, Kementerian Pendidikan Tinggi, Sains, dan Teknologi.

Kegiatan ini melibatkan dua kelompok sasaran, yakni Kelompok Tani Melati Sejahtera dan Kelompok Sadar Wisata (Pokdarwis) SADESA, dengan dukungan penuh Pemerintah Desa Pesantren yang dipimpin oleh Sukirno.

Tim pelaksana terdiri atas Dr. Moh. Solehatul Mustofa, M.A. sebagai ketua, Prof. Dr. Ir. Amin Retnoningsih, M.Si., Dr. Hartati Sulistyo Rini, S.Sos., M.A., serta Dr. Erik Aditia Ismaya, S.Pd., M.A. dari Universitas Muria Kudus. Program ini juga melibatkan mahasiswa UNNES dari Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik (FISIP) serta Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (FMIPA).

Pelaksanaan program pada tahun kedua ini merupakan tindak lanjut dari capaian tahun pertama yang berhasil merintis ekosistem agrowisata berbasis komunitas. Berbagai capaian tersebut meliputi pengembangan demplot labu unggulan, produk olahan dan suvenir lokal, penguatan kelembagaan, penyusunan standar operasional prosedur (SOP), desain kemasan produk, hingga pemanfaatan media promosi digital.

Pada tahun kedua, pendampingan difokuskan pada penguatan hilirisasi produk, penataan kawasan, diversifikasi komoditas, penyusunan rute dan paket agrowisata, serta intensifikasi media promosi digital. Sejumlah komoditas unggulan yang akan dikembangkan antara lain labu Butternut Jacqueline dan Kabocha, selada, markisa Red Panama dan Golden Panama, serta talas Pratama 2.

Pengembangan kawasan agrowisata juga memanfaatkan potensi alam Desa Pesantren yang memiliki sungai berbatu dengan aliran air jernih. Potensi tersebut akan diintegrasikan dengan kebun edukatif sebagai daya tarik wisata.

Melalui konsep ini, kawasan agrowisata diharapkan mampu menghadirkan pengalaman wisata yang memadukan pembelajaran pertanian, keindahan alam, dan produk lokal dalam satu kesatuan yang saling mendukung.
