Simfoni UNNES 2026 Jadi Ruang Kolaborasi dan Pelestarian Musik Nusantara

Program Studi Pendidikan Seni Musik Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni (FBS) Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) menggelar Pertunjukan Musik Simfoni UNNES 2026 di Auditorium Prof. Wuryanto UNNES, Kota Semarang, Minggu (21/6/2026). Kegiatan yang diselenggarakan untuk memperingati Hari Musik Dunia tersebut menjadi ruang kolaborasi sekaligus upaya melestarikan kekayaan musik Indonesia.

Simfoni UNNES 2026 terbagi dalam dua rangkaian utama, yakni workshop musik bagi siswa SMA serta pertunjukan orkestra kolaborasi keroncong dan dangdut. Puluhan siswa dari berbagai SMA di Kota Semarang mengikuti workshop dengan mempraktikkan permainan alat musik, berlatih ensambel, serta berdiskusi bersama dosen dan praktisi musik.

Puncak acara menghadirkan lebih dari 70 musisi yang terdiri atas dosen, mahasiswa, alumni, siswa SMA, dan mitra sekolah musik. Mereka tampil dalam satu panggung membawakan perpaduan musik keroncong dan dangdut dalam format orkestra.

Wakil Rektor III UNNES, Prof. Dr. Ngabiyanto, M.Si., menegaskan bahwa musik merupakan bahasa universal yang mampu menyatukan masyarakat tanpa dibatasi perbedaan bangsa maupun latar belakang.

“Musik adalah bahasa universal yang tidak mengenal sekat-sekat bangsa. Momentum Hari Musik Dunia ini bukan sekadar selebrasi pada nada dan irama, melainkan pengingat bahwa kita memiliki tanggung jawab besar untuk mengeksplorasi kekayaan seni daerah,” tegasnya.

Menurutnya, dosen, peneliti, dan mahasiswa memiliki tantangan untuk terus mengembangkan kekayaan musik Nusantara agar dapat meningkatkan reputasi institusi dan bangsa di tingkat dunia.

Sementara itu, Koordinator Program Studi Pendidikan Seni Musik FBS UNNES, Dr. Abdul Rachman, S.Pd., M.Pd., mengatakan Simfoni UNNES 2026 menjadi bukti bahwa musik tradisional Indonesia tetap relevan dan mampu beradaptasi dengan perkembangan zaman.

“Keroncong dan dangdut adalah bagian dari identitas musik Indonesia. Dengan mengemasnya dalam format orkestra dan melibatkan generasi muda, kami ingin menunjukkan bahwa musik tradisional kita keren dan layak untuk terus dilestarikan,” kata dia.

Ia menambahkan, keterlibatan berbagai unsur dalam pertunjukan tersebut diharapkan dapat memperkuat ekosistem musik sekaligus menumbuhkan kecintaan generasi muda terhadap musik Indonesia.

“Semangat kolaborasi yang tercipta hari ini adalah investasi bagi masa depan musik Indonesia,” pungkasnya.

Melalui Simfoni UNNES 2026, UNNES menegaskan komitmennya dalam mengembangkan pendidikan seni, memperluas ruang kolaborasi, serta melestarikan musik Nusantara agar semakin dikenal oleh masyarakat nasional maupun internasional.
