SEMARANG – The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), held the First Semester 2026 Leadership Meeting on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at Smart Classroom D6, 3rd Floor.
The meeting, which began at 09.00 a.m., served as a coordination forum for faculty leaders, study program coordinators, laboratory managers, administrative leaders, and heads of faculty task units within FMIPA UNNES.
The meeting was attended by several institutional elements of FMIPA UNNES, including the Dean, Vice Deans, Head of the Integrated Laboratory, Coordinators of Diploma, Undergraduate, Master’s, and Doctoral Study Programs, Laboratory Coordinators, Head of Administration, and Heads of Faculty Task Units. Their participation reflected the importance of institutional synergy in strengthening the direction of faculty governance.
Through this leadership meeting, FMIPA UNNES consolidated various strategic agendas for the first semester of 2026. The forum provided space to align work programs, evaluate the implementation of activities, and strengthen cross-unit coordination in supporting academic services, student affairs, laboratories, administration, quality assurance, partnerships, and institutional development.
The meeting also became part of FMIPA UNNES’ efforts to build faculty governance that is more responsive and adaptive to the dynamics of higher education. Strong coordination among units is essential to ensure that each program is implemented in a clear, measurable, and integrated manner in line with the faculty’s development targets.
During the activity, participants actively followed the presentation and discussion of the meeting agenda. Each institutional element played an important role in providing input, identifying needs, and strengthening collaboration to improve the quality of services and faculty performance.

The First Semester 2026 Leadership Meeting also reaffirmed FMIPA UNNES’ commitment to maintaining the continuity of academic and non-academic programs. This activity also supports the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) through the strengthening of academic governance and the improvement of educational services. In addition, the meeting is aligned with SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions) because it encourages the development of effective, accountable, and responsive institutions. The activity also supports SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through stronger coordination and collaboration among units within FMIPA UNNES.
