Semarang, October 8, 2026 — In preparation for the implementation of the ISO 21001:2018 Surveillance Audit at Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), the Quality Assurance Office (Kantor Penjaminan Mutu/KPM) of UNNES conducted a surveillance audit readiness visit at the Faculty of Engineering on Thursday, October 8, 2026.
The activity, which began at 9:00 a.m. WIB and continued until completion, was part of a series of preparations for the ISO 21001:2018 Surveillance Audit. The Faculty of Engineering is one of the units involved in the audit process; therefore, comprehensive coordination and readiness checks were considered necessary prior to the audit.
The readiness visit aimed to ensure the Faculty of Engineering’s preparedness for the ISO 21001:2018 Surveillance Audit, particularly in terms of document and record readiness, fulfillment of evidence demonstrating the implementation of the management system, readiness of relevant personnel, and technical preparations for the audit.
During the visit, KPM coordinated with the faculty leadership and relevant units to identify various aspects requiring preparation and follow-up. The checking process also focused on the availability and conformity of documents and evidence of management system implementation required as part of the surveillance audit process.
Through this activity, the Faculty of Engineering is expected to ensure that all aspects within the scope of the audit have been properly prepared. The readiness check also serves as an opportunity to identify, at an early stage, any documents, records, implementation evidence, or technical aspects that may still need to be completed or improved.
KPM UNNES also emphasized the importance of the involvement of faculty leadership, relevant units, and personnel associated with the implementation of the management system. The readiness of all relevant parties is expected to support the smooth implementation of the ISO 21001:2018 Surveillance Audit while strengthening the implementation of the educational organization management system at UNNES.
The readiness visit is expected to strengthen effective coordination between KPM and the Faculty of Engineering and ensure that the faculty is optimally prepared for the upcoming ISO 21001:2018 Surveillance Audit.
This activity also reflects UNNES’s commitment to maintaining the continuous implementation of the ISO 21001:2018 standard and improving the quality of educational organization management on an ongoing basis.
