Semarang, September 11, 2026 — In an effort to strengthen the preparation for study program reaccreditation and improve the quality of Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) documentation, Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) held an activity entitled “Preparation for Study Program Reaccreditation and SPMI Cycle Reporting (PPEPP).”
The activity was held on Friday, September 11, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. WIB at the Borobudur Meeting Room, 3rd Floor, LPPM Building. The activity was part of UNNES’s efforts to ensure the readiness of study programs for the reaccreditation process while strengthening the systematic and continuous reporting of the SPMI cycle.
The discussion focused on various aspects that need to be prepared by study programs in anticipation of the reaccreditation process. In addition, the activity addressed the preparation of reports on the implementation of the SPMI cycle through the PPEPP stages: Determination, Implementation, Evaluation, Control, and Improvement.
Through the implementation of the PPEPP cycle, study programs are expected to be able to document the quality assurance process in a more structured manner, starting from the determination of standards, implementation of standards, evaluation of standard achievement, control based on evaluation results, and follow-up actions in the form of continuous quality improvement.
The activity also served as a coordination forum to identify various documents and supporting data required for both the reaccreditation process and the preparation of SPMI reports. The availability of complete, relevant, and well-documented evidence is an important aspect in ensuring the readiness of study programs.
Through this activity, UNNES encourages all study programs to strengthen their readiness and consistency in implementing and documenting the internal quality assurance system. Synergy among management units, study programs, and quality assurance units is expected to support the smooth implementation of the reaccreditation process while strengthening the quality culture throughout the university.
The Preparation for Study Program Reaccreditation and SPMI Cycle Reporting (PPEPP) activity is expected to serve as a strategic step in ensuring the continuous improvement of educational quality at UNNES and supporting the achievement of established quality standards.
