In order to deliver excellent service in quality assurance, the Quality Assurance Office (QAO) initiated a series of routine visits, or safari, to Study Program Management Units (SPMU). These activities aim to provide guidance to study programs during the accreditation process. The visits are conducted directly and personally led by Prof. Dr. Rudi Hartono, M.Pd., Chief of the Quality Assurance Office in university-level, accompanied by the Secretary of Quality Assurance Office, the Head of Analysis System Development and Quality Assurance, and the Head of Higher Education Data Center.
Beyond providing guidance on managing the study program accreditation process, these visits serve as a forum for exchanging views and media to hear firsthand about the obstacles or issues study programs face regarding quality assurance. Through these visits, the QAO team can directly monitor the progress of accreditation preparations being undertaken by the study programs.
Following a visit to the Faculty of Education and Psychology on February 17, 2025, the QAO visited the Faculty of Languages and Arts on March 19, 2025, and the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences on April 16, 2025. These visits focused on discussing quality assurance issues in each faculty. Specifically, the visit to the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences covered the dissemination of information regarding UNNES’s 2026 university-level accreditation preparations, ISO 21001 standards, national and international accreditation for study programs, and the acceleration of student graduation. It is hoped that these visits by the QAO team to the Study Program Management Units (SPMU) will provide motivation and effective solutions for study programs as they secure the excellent academic quality. Furthermore, these visits help establishing strong relationships between university-level leadership through the central QAO team and the leadership and task forces at the study program level.
