Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) should be proud, having once again secured international accreditation certification through the international accreditation agency, the Agency for Quality Assurance (AQAS). Previously, on December 4, 2023, the Bachelor’s programs in Sociology and Anthropology Education, Social Science Education, and Political Science, as well as the Master’s program in Social Science Education, received international accreditation certification from AQAS with “Conditional” status. This indicated that certain components required improvement to achieve “Unconditional” status or fully approved with international accreditation.
The hard work and efforts of the accreditation task force and quality assurance team have paid off. On April 4, 2025, UNNES was confirmed to have met the outstanding requirements set by AQAS, resulting in the issuance of international accreditation compliance certificates for the Bachelor’s programs in Sociology and Anthropology Education, Social Science Education, and Political Science, as well as the Master’s program in Social Science Education. Undoubtedly, this brilliant institutional achievement stems from the collaboration of all relevant internal and external factors.
The increase in UNNES study programs holding international accreditation ensures public trusts in the institution’s role in advancing science and technology.
