Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) has again demonstrated its commitment to producing internationally accomplished athletes. At the ASEAN University Games (AUG), held from Tuesday, June 25th to Sunday, July 7th, UNNES proudly secured 20 medals for Indonesia, comprising ten gold, four silver, and six bronze medals.
The latest victory for UNNES was achieved by Anwar Budiyanto, a student from the Department of Physical Education, Health, and Recreation (PJKR). Anwar impressively secured four medals in Sepak Takraw, including one gold (quadran), two silver (team and double), and one bronze (team).

- Desy Noervita Rahayu (PPKN) – Bridge: Gold (Women’s Pair)
- Della Ayu Nobira (PJKR) – Bridge: Gold (Women’s Pair)
- Mariana Rosali Aviliationo (PJKR) – Athletics (Discus Throw): Bronze
- Arifianto Firmansyah (PJKR) – Athletics (Long Jump): Silver (Long Jump), Bronze (4×100 Relay)
- Tharisa Dea Florentina (PJSD) – Wushu: Gold
- Bintang Reindra Nada Guitara (PJKR) – Wushu: Gold
- Bayu Raka Putra (POR S2) – Wushu: Gold
- Laksmana Pandu Pratama (POR S2) – Wushu: Gold
- Thania Kusumaningtyas (PJKR) – Wushu: Gold
- Septa Ami Maulana (PKO) – Handball: Bronze
- Alfian Ardiyansah (IKOR) – Handball: Bronze
This triumph significantly contributed to Indonesia’s overall medal tally, enabling the nation to claim the title of overall champion in this prestigious international tournament.
