The recognition of Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) as a pioneer of educational excellence is getting stronger by continuing to add professors. This was evidenced by the inauguration of nine new professors on Thursday (11/9). They are dedicated academics who are brilliant and have made important contributions to the development of science.

UNNES Rector, Prof. Dr. S Martono, M.Si., was proud of the inauguration of the nine new professors. For him, the increase in the number of professors indicates an improvement in the quality of human resources owned by UNNES. In addition, the increase in the number of professors also reflects the rise in UNNES’s capacity to carry out the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. 

Prof. Dr. Bambang Priyono, M.Pd.
Professor of Physical Education

Prof. Dr. Bambang Priyono is an expert in physical education, sports, and health. This lecturer at the Faculty of Sports Science (FIK) UNNES has pursued his hobbies of tennis and gymnastics for a long time. As a professional teacher, Prof. Bambang strives to form prospective educators in physical education who are superior, qualified, and competent to create innovative, creative, and fun learning. Through creating great teachers, Prof. Bambang contributed to welcoming The Golden Indonesia 2045.

Prof. Dr. Dewi Sulistianingsih, S.H., M.H.
Professor of Contract Law 

Prof. Dr. Dewi Sulistianingsih is a professor of contract law. She paid particular attention to the backlog of civil cases in court. She initiated a solution through an out-of-court settlement based on an agreement confirmed in the contract agreement. Prof. Dewi Sulistianingsih strives to realize societal peace and minimize disputes through her work. Her creative ideas and concern for the field of legal science are what led her to become a professor in the field of contract law. 

Prof. Dr. Amir Mahmud, S.Pd., M.Si.
Professor of Public Sector Management

Prof. Dr. Amir Mahmud is a professor of public sector management. The Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UNNES earned his bachelor’s degree at IKIP Semarang, master’s degree at Universitas Diponegoro, and Doctorate at Universitas Negeri Semarang. As an economist, he is also widely known for his experience in remuneration management. He is the Head of the UNNES remuneration team and is a member of the remuneration team forum for state universities throughout Indonesia. That expertise makes Prof. Amir often invited as a speaker at various national conferences. He is concerned with the field of public sector management, especially government. 

Prof. Dr. Malarsih. M.Sn.
Professor of Dance

Prof. Dr. Malarsih is a professor of dance at the Faculty of Language and Arts (FBS) UNNES. Prof. Malarsih completed her bachelor’s degree at ISI Yogyakarta, her master’s degree at Performing Arts Studies STSI Surakarta, and her doctorate at Art Education UNNES. For Prof. Malarsih, dance is an art and a medium to express the soul. Through slick body movements, Prof. Malarsih created a dance innovation that reflects the condition of self and the socio-cultural life conditions of the community. Through her work, Prof. Malarsih wants to make a more beautiful dance for her audience, such as the principle she holds in life, to benefit others. 

Prof. Dr. Rodiyah, S.Pd., S.H., M.Si.
Professor of Legal Drafting

Prof. Dr. Rodiyah is an expert in the field of legal drafting. The science of law is something she has been pursuing for a long time. She earned her bachelor’s in PMP KN IKIP Semarang and Constitutional Law at Untag. Her persistence continued by completing the Master of Science at Universitas Gadjah Mada and the Doctoral Program in Law at Universitas Diponegoro. Prof Rodiyah, The wife of AKBP Arie Iman Prasetya, also received a scholarship from Sandwich-like in 2008 – 2009 at the Law School of Wisconsin University – USA to deepen her knowledge. Thanks to her dedication to constitutional law, Prof. Rodiyah is trusted to be an expert witness in various major cases. She was selected as an outstanding lecturer in 2014 and an exemplary lecturer in 2015. 

Prof. Dr. Saiful Ridlo, M.Si.
Professor of Biology Learning Evaluation

As an expert in evaluating biology learning, Prof. Dr. Saiful Ridlo views assessment as a learning control tool in modern education. On the other hand, flipped approaches and strategies are increasingly widely recognized and recognized for their reliability. The awareness to restore the educator mindset from the education 4.0 paradigm to education 5.0 by rehumanization education encouraged Prof. Saiful to modify the flipped-learning model. He initiated changes to the syntax of scientific literacy learning and integrated it into a rehumanization process model: Relate, Acknowledge, Reflect, and Empower. Prof. Saiful completed his bachelor’s degree in Biology at IKIP Semarang, his master’s in Biology at Universitas Gadjah Mada, and his doctorate in Education Research and Evaluation at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. 

Prof. Dr. Wirawan Sumbodo, M.T.
Professor of Management Science in Mechanical Engineering Education

Prof. Dr. Wirawan Sumbodo is a professor of Mechanical Engineering Education Management. Since becoming a lecturer in 1990, he has had brilliant thoughts and works. He has produced many innovations, including 26 articles in mechanical engineering in national and international journals in the last five years. Some of the books he has written, namely CAD-CAM, Industrial Machinery Production Engineering, Pneumatics, and Hydraulics, and the most recent is a book entitled Hybrid Engines. Through his works, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering UNNES obtained various intellectual property rights, including designing CAD-based electric bicycles, pulp-making machines with directional finned tubes, and electric-pneumatic regenerative brake devices.

Prof. Dr. Dwi Yulianti, M.Si.
Professor of STEM in Physics Education

Prof. Dr. Dwi Yulianti is a physics education expert with widely recognized expertise. She completed his bachelor’s degree in Physics Education at IKIP Semarang, her master’s in Physical Science at Universitas Gadjah Mada, and her doctorate in Science Education at Universitas Negeri Semarang. As a lecturer, she is active on campus and often invited as a speaker in various international forums, such as Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Korea. Her international work as a researcher is realized through collaborative research with Universiti Teknologi Mara and Universiti Malaya. She also developed a learning model, known as the Task Action Learning Model with a STEM approach to facilitate the development of 21st-century learning skills.

Prof. Dr. Ngabiyanto, M.Si.
Professor of Public Policy

Prof. Dr. Ngabiyanto is an expert in public policy. As a public policy researcher, one of his studies focuses on realizing and guaranteeing teachers’ rights through public policy. The topic was also written in his dissertation. He completed his bachelor’s degree at IKIP Semarang, his master’s in National Resilience at Gadjah Mada University, and his doctorate in Development Studies at Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana. He has held several important positions, including Head of the Center for Social Research and Humanities, Secretary to the Rector, Head of the PPG Center, Vice Dean for Student Affairs FIS UNNES (2016-2017), Secretary of LP3 (2018), Chairman of LP3, and now Vice-Rector for Research, Innovation, and Information Systems. Prof Ngabiyanto, born in Blora, is active in various off-campus activities as an instructor of Ethics and Applied Approach (AA) and becoming a visiting professor at several domestic and foreign universities.
