Bachelor of Education (S.Pd.)
Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering Education is one of the long-established educational study programs in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program S1 was founded in July 1979, and on July 11 1996 officially obtained the Decree for the Establishment of the Study Program from the Director General of Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia Number 244/DIKTI/KEP/1996.
Study Program Achievements
The Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program has had outstanding graduate achievements with an average GPA of 3.00 in the last four years, the results of the graduation thesis grades have earned an A or B grade. This achievement is also offset by the large number of graduates absorbed in employment as teaching staff, working in industry or entrepreneurship where the waiting period for graduates to get a job is not too long. Graduate users also stated that they were satisfied with the performance of alumni from the mechanical engineering education study program.
Apart from being in the fields of study and work, the mechanical engineering education study program also has proud achievements at the national level, namely winning PIMNAS several times. The last achievement at the national level was at the 2011 PIMNAS in the field of written ideas entitled Smart Flying Float.
Supporting Facilities
Mechanical engineering education study program has adequate supporting facilities, for example the availability of equipment with the latest technology in the machining and production laboratories, the availability of teleconference and micro teaching rooms and wifi facilities in the campus area. With all these supporting facilities, it is expected to be able to provide benefits for students to explore science and technology in the field of mechanical engineering.
To strengthen the learning process, the mechanical engineering education study program already has a network of cooperation with national-scale companies engaged in the automotive and engineering fields. With this collaboration, it will be easier for students to gain experience about the industrial world and the suitability of learning with the needs of the industrial world.
Self Development Opportunities
Mechanical engineering education study program provides broad opportunities for student development. Student independence and creativity are also explored through various activities including: (a) Automotive Skill Competition (ASC), (b) Mechanic Skill Competition (MSC), (c) faculty level exhibition (April Integrated), (d) regional level exhibition ( Unnes Anniversary, Central Java Education Office) and nationally, (e) Scientific Work Competition (LKI), Student Writing Competition (LKTM), Student Creativity Program (PKM), and National Student Scientific Week (PIMNAS), savings workshops held regularly every year.
