Graduate Description

The Automotive Engineering Education Study Program is one of the study programs in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Semarang State University. This Study Program organizes education in the field of Automotive Engineering to accommodate the needs of automotive engineering teachers for SMKs as well as instructors at training centers and Entrepreneurs. The provision of education is based on a Mandate Letter from the Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of National Education Number 1042/E/T/2011 dated 21 July 2011 concerning the Assignment of the Opening of the Automotive Engineering Education Study Program (S1) and Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia Number: 137/ E/O/2012 concerning the Implementation of the Automotive Engineering Education Study Program (S-1) at Semarang State University.

Armed with the determination and spirit of “SIAP (Skill, Innovation, Academic and Performance)”, the Automotive Engineering Education Study Program is ready to equip students with a range of graduate competencies: automotive engineering knowledge (mastering the history and development of automotive engineering, basic automotive engineering, and an overview of the automotive world ), automotive maintenance (mastering maintenance techniques for engines, chassis, body, and automotive electricity), automotive technology (mastering automotive component manufacturing techniques), and entrepreneur (mastering the basics of management and customer service and being able to become an entrepreneur in the automotive field)
