Dosen Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), Dr. Andi Irwan Benardi, S.Pd., M.Pd. (FISIP); Drs. Saptono Putro, M.Si. (FISIP); dan Dr. Nanik Sri Utaminingsih, S.E., M.Si. (FEB), bersama mahasiswa yang tergabung dalam Himpunan Mahasiswa Geografi (HIMA Geografi) dan UKMP, berhasil memperoleh pendanaan melalui Program Mahasiswa Berdampak–Aksara Peduli Tahun 2026.

Program tersebut mengusung judul “Penguatan Ekonomi Hijau dan Kesiapsiagaan Bencana Melalui Kolaborasi Masyarakat Desa Ketep Berbasis Teknologi Pengolahan Kompos serta Jalur Evakuasi Digital” dengan fokus pada penguatan ekonomi hijau dan pelaksanaan selama satu tahun. Kegiatan akan berlangsung selama satu tahun, mulai dari bulan Oktober 2026 hingga September 2027.

Program ini melibatkan 20 mahasiswa lintas program studi di UNNES, yaitu Marizka Dwi Cahyani, Slamet Nurbasith, Danu Setyawan, Anifatun Ni’mah Ro’ah, Khoirul Anam, Rino Naufaldi Nafis, Faoza Alodya Valensi, Muhamad Ihsanul Farizqi, Mufti Falah Desmafitano, Faishal Kafi, Ayunismara Prastyana Sani, Triyanto Darma Putra, Yassirli Amri, Sihab Alhabzi, M. Raihanul Fikri, Muhammad Dwi Utomo Aji, Ahmad Deliansyah, Rizki Adhari, Fandi Aolia, dan Navisa Febrianasari. Keterlibatan mahasiswa dari beragam bidang keilmuan menjadi bagian penting dalam membangun kolaborasi lintas disiplin untuk menjawab kebutuhan masyarakat secara konkret.

Melalui program ini, tim berupaya memperkuat ekonomi hijau sekaligus meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan masyarakat Desa Ketep dalam menghadapi risiko bencana. Kegiatan yang direncanakan mencakup penerapan teknologi pengolahan sampah organik menjadi kompos menggunakan Gemi Lestari, pendampingan kelompok wanita tani, serta pengembangan sistem jalur evakuasi digital berbasis WebGIS dan QR Code. Rangkaian kegiatan tersebut dirancang untuk menghubungkan pengelolaan lingkungan, penguatan kapasitas ekonomi masyarakat, dan pemanfaatan teknologi dalam mendukung mitigasi bencana.

Mahasiswa turut berperan aktif dalam berbagai tahapan pelaksanaan program, mulai dari pemetaan wilayah dan pengolahan data spasial hingga pendampingan masyarakat, pengelolaan administrasi dan ekonomi kelompok, edukasi mitigasi bencana, serta pelaksanaan simulasi evakuasi. Pembagian peran berdasarkan keahlian masing-masing diharapkan dapat memperkuat pelaksanaan program sekaligus mendorong transfer pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada masyarakat. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini tidak hanya berorientasi pada penerapan inovasi teknologi, tetapi juga pada peningkatan kapasitas warga agar mampu mengelola potensi lingkungan dan menghadapi risiko bencana secara lebih mandiri.

Keberhasilan memperoleh pendanaan melalui Program Mahasiswa Berdampak–Aksara Peduli 2026 menjadi bukti sinergi antara dosen, HIMA Geografi, UKMP, dan mahasiswa lintas disiplin dalam menghadirkan inovasi yang aplikatif dan berorientasi pada kebutuhan masyarakat. Kolaborasi ini juga menjadi ruang pembelajaran bagi mahasiswa untuk mengimplementasikan ilmu pengetahuan secara langsung, sekaligus memperkuat keterlibatan perguruan tinggi dalam mendorong pembangunan masyarakat yang berkelanjutan.

Dari perspektif Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan atau Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), program ini relevan dengan SDG 12: Konsumsi dan Produksi yang Bertanggung Jawab, melalui pengolahan sampah organik menjadi kompos dan penguatan praktik pengelolaan sumber daya yang lebih berkelanjutan. Pendampingan kelompok wanita tani serta pengembangan ekonomi hijau juga mendukung SDG 8: Pekerjaan Layak dan Pertumbuhan Ekonomi, khususnya melalui penguatan kapasitas kelompok masyarakat dalam mengembangkan kegiatan ekonomi yang berwawasan lingkungan.

Pengembangan jalur evakuasi digital berbasis WebGIS dan QR Code serta edukasi dan simulasi mitigasi bencana turut berkontribusi terhadap SDG 11: Kota dan Permukiman yang Berkelanjutan, terutama dalam membangun masyarakat yang lebih tangguh terhadap risiko bencana. Sementara itu, keterlibatan dosen, mahasiswa, organisasi kemahasiswaan, dan masyarakat mencerminkan semangat SDG 17: Kemitraan untuk Mencapai Tujuan, yang menekankan pentingnya kolaborasi lintas pihak untuk menghasilkan dampak pembangunan yang berkelanjutan. Melalui pendekatan tersebut, program di Desa Ketep diharapkan dapat menjadi langkah nyata dalam mengintegrasikan inovasi teknologi, pemberdayaan masyarakat, pelestarian lingkungan, dan peningkatan kesiapsiagaan bencana.
