Semarang, June 19, 2026 – The Faculty of Education and Psychology (FIPP) once again held its Healthy Friday event as an effort to build a healthy lifestyle culture and strengthen togetherness within the faculty. The event, attended by 50 participants, took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere, with Soto Semarang as the main menu.

Healthy Friday is a regular event that not only encourages the academic community to adopt a healthy lifestyle but also provides a space to strengthen interaction, collaboration, and a spirit of togetherness among employees. Through this activity, FIPP is committed to creating a healthy, productive, and harmonious work environment.
The choice of Soto Semarang as the menu for this event holds special significance. As one of Indonesia’s traditional culinary delights, Soto Semarang offers a nutritious dish consisting of broth, chicken, bean sprouts, rice vermicelli, and various accompaniments that reflect the richness of Indonesian cuisine. Soto is known as one of Indonesia’s traditional dishes with diverse variations across regions, including the distinctive flavors of Semarang.
More than simply enjoying a meal together, this activity also aligns with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) point 2, Zero Hunger, which aims to end hunger, improve food security, and promote the consumption of nutritious food. By presenting nutritious traditional foods while supporting the preservation of local culinary delights, FIPP demonstrates its commitment to raising awareness of the importance of access to healthy, safe, and sustainable food.

Through the Healthy Friday activity, FIPP hopes that the spirit of healthy living, the preservation of local culinary culture, and the implementation of SDG values will continue to be part of the work culture within the faculty. The sense of togetherness fostered through simple activities such as eating together is expected to strengthen the synergy of the entire academic community in creating a healthy, inclusive, and sustainable work environment.
