The PPK Ormawa BEM FEB UNNES 2024 is launching an innovative program, “Empowering the Young Farmers Studio Based on Integrated Coffee Processing to Improve the Productivity of Millennial Coffee Farmers.” So far, coffee farmers in Wirogomo Village have faced challenges in optimizing their management processes, particularly in coffee cultivation and post-harvest processing, which has affected the quality of their coffee yields.
To address this, the PPK Ormawa BEM FEB UNNES team initiated a skill development program that includes both soft skills and hard skills. This program offers training in coffee cultivation, post-harvest processing, as well as institutional, financial, and marketing management. Furthermore, through the Demo Day (Business Gathering) event, the PPKO BEM FEB UNNES team, in collaboration with coffee industry business partners, will assist Wirogomo Village coffee farmers in branding their coffee products. By involving various coffee shops from Semarang, these initiatives are expected to positively impact the economic welfare of coffee farmers in Wirogomo Village.
