The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) organized an academic discussion with Kindai University Japan. This discussion involved lecturers from FEB UNNES and Yukichika Kawata, a lecturer from Kindai University. The event aims to strengthen the Tridharma of higher education through international collaboration among lecturers, which is expected to enhance the global quality of FEB UNNES lecturers.
This collaboration aims to strengthen the three pillars of higher education – education, research, and community service – by combining insights and practices from both universities. Through this collaboration, it is expected that the quality of education and research at FEB UNNES can improve and gain a broader global perspective.
The collaboration includes joint research, community service, and teaching initiatives conducted alternately by both universities. FEB UNNES will invite lecturers from Kindai University Japan to teach for one semester, and conversely, FEB UNNES lecturers will also teach at Kindai University.
Additionally, research and community service will be conducted in both countries, namely in Indonesia and Japan. This approach aims to obtain comprehensive results and comparisons from both countries, which will later be published as scientific articles. This collaboration marks an important step in fostering closer ties between UNNES and Kindai University, and enhancing the quality of education, research, and community service at the international level. Both universities are committed to continuing to work together to achieve these shared goals and make a positive contribution to the advancement of education and research in Indonesia and Japan.
